PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Accelerate business volume growth by supporting sales team in closing new business at new or existing accounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Grow volume and margin by closing new accounts 
  • Identify new business accounts
  • Prospect for new business by:
    • Networking
    • Attending industry functions and tradeshows
    • Engaging suppliers and other lead follow ups
  • Develop product training and resource support as needed by sales.
  • Identify CPA's unique value and selling propositions and differentiators for sales reps to use as a tool in positioning activity & collaboration with suppliers.
  • Create sales tools (i.e., must win/must advance)
  • Organize Webinars
  • Organize Trainings
  • Conduct regular target reviews
  • Develop pipeline and manage
    • Manage the integrity of the pipeline and identify the resources needed by sales to commercialize the opportunity.

KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Complex thinking skills in translating customer needs into solutions.
  • Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Professional presence, including excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Broad knowledge of solutions, materials and processing.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously on a day-to-day basis.
  • Team player.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all personality styles as well as various cultural backgrounds
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Minimal training and oversight required. 
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Dynamics (CRM) and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, may increase on occasion.
