What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Credit & Collections Specialist within our Lodging division. This position falls under our Operations line of business and is in Lexington, KY. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting receivables from clients within their agreed-upon terms and applying them appropriately to the client’s invoices. You will also be responsible for calling upon assigned clients, processing payments via ACH, Check, and Credit Card, and using customer service skills to be sure all clients adhere to agreed-upon terms. You will report directly to the Supervisor.


How We Work

As a Credit & Collections Specialist, you will be expected to work in an office environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

  • Assigned workspace in Lexington, KY office. HYBRID after completion of 2-week onsite paid training.   
  • Formal, hands-on training


Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Calling clients for balances due to CLC when clients are past due according to their payment terms.
  • Providing ad hoc updates on problem accounts
  • Reviewing and entering credit applications into company proprietary software for review
  • Correctly posting cash receipts for CLC for assigned clients.
  • Maintaining client database (credit card expiration dates, method of payment, credit limits)
  • Entering vendor master file updates
  • Communicating with A/R team and A/P team on client payment status
  • Facilitating communications with Sales and Operations about client payment issues

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify/research issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills
