Wire Investigations Associate

What We Need

CORPAY is currently looking to hire a Wire Investigations Associate within our cross-order division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in Toronto, Canada.. In this role, you will be  part of a dynamic, fast paced Operations team focused on Global Payment movements and FX transactional activity. You will be responsible for ensuring that funds reach our global clients in a timely and effective manner, while ensuring the highest degree of data accuracy, confidentiality and by maintaining successful internal relationships. You will report directly to the Team Leader, Wire Investigations, and collaborate regularly with vendors. This will be a 12-month permanent position.

 

Role Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that funds reach our global clients in a timely and effective manner, while ensuring the highest degree of data accuracy, confidentiality and by maintaining successful internal relationships.

 

  • Working with the internal sales team and banking partners to deliver excellent customer service for related investigations such as traces, recalls and amendments;
  • Processing investigation requests in a timely manner;
  • Working with the accounting team to ensure outstanding items are reconciled;
  • Working with the Wire team to process wires on a daily basis;
  • Departmental cross-training; reconciliations and other areas as required;
  • Ad hoc duties as requested.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
  • ACT database experience a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Ability to multitask is a must
  • Must be available to work some holidays and weekends
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are critical skills for this position.
  • Team player with a strong customer service focus;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Detail oriented with demonstrated levels of accuracy;
  • Good written and verbal communication; and
  • Able to follow policies and procedures and understand operational risks.

 

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • 2-4 years’ of demonstrated experience in a back office function, with a exposure to Wire Investigations;
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma is an asset;
  • Experience in the financial/banking industry would be an asset;
  • Familiarity with SWIFT and composing MT199/MT299 messages would be an asset; and
  • IT literate with the ability to quickly learn new systems

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to concentrate and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, talking on the phone, and working on a computer.
