Responsibilities:

• Install motorized and manual shades and other window treatments.
• Install low-voltage keypads and button kits on an as-needed basis.
• Activate devices and perform light programming within the Lutron software.
• Troubleshoot equipment and wiring to determine cause of malfunctions.
• Follow design documents to complete projects.
• Provide daily reports with description of work performed.
• Coordinate with trade partners and clients onsite as needed.
• Assist with shade measures as needed.
• Supervise and mentor less-experienced Shade Installer/Field Technicians.
• Attend industry specific trainings and stay current on technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years previous experience in shade installation required.
• Professional and client-presentable at all times
• Experience with the use of hand and power tools.
• Comfortable working on job sites as well as in finished home environments.
• Able to move items +50lbs
• Comfortable climbing up and down ladders and able to work at heights.
• Basic competency with Lutron programming software.
• Tech-savvy, able to quickly pick up the use of new apps and software.
• Great troubleshooting skills & ability to solve issues onsite.
• Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Must speak, read, and write English fluently.
