Summary

This position is responsible for high volume recruitment focusing on open positions within the areas of care and sales.  This involves forming strong partnerships with hiring managers and following a comprehensive recruitment process to meet hiring needs.  

Essential Duties & Responsibility

Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Complete steps in the recruiting process including , but not limited to, reviewing and managing requisitions, pre-screening resumes, phone screening qualified candidates, interview scheduling, processing criminal background checks, making offers, sending correspondence, and updating reports and employee profiles
  • Consult with hiring managers to ensure that the best candidates are selected for the needs of each department/program.  This involves analyzing staffing alternatives, determining needs and following a comprehensive recruitment and selection process
  • Update and train hiring managers on appropriate use of selection tools which include online applicant tracking system, resume review, interviewing techniques, candidate assessment and selecting finalists
  • Coordinate internal and external temporary employees
  • Promote Alta Resources at a variety of recruitment functions such as job fairs, university and college career days, and career events targeted for special populations
  • Coordinate on boarding and off boarding activities
  • Provide additional HR support as requested
  • Keep current on new and best recruitment practices
  • Regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of availability are conditions of employment and essential function of this position.

Leadership Responsibilities

This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities however does provide leadership support, coaching and training to all employees.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

 

Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University required or equivalent years of experience.  A focus on HR Management preferred; a minimum of 1 year Recruiting experience required.  Call Center agent or Customer Service Representative recruitment experience is a plus.

 

TECHNOLOGY SKILL BASE

 

This position requires a working knowledge of computer technology that includes:  Intermediate Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and beginning Microsoft Excel.   Individuals must possess the ability to learn and understand new software and other technology applications as introduced by the Client and Alta Resources.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

 

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

 

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

REASONING ABILITY

 

Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.  Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.) in its most difficult phases.  Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
