NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION LEADER
Position Summary
The New Product Introduction (NPI) Leader is responsible for program and process management of new products through their Product Life Cycle (PLC). A key function of this role will be to establish a team, action items, and timelines to deliver in coordination with the customer and companies’ expectations, for corresponding product lines. The NPI Leader will coordinate a cross-functional team through the lifetime of the product.
Key Responsibilities:
• For each product upon purchase order; establish a team, action items, and timelines
• Deliver status updates to the customer, management, and sales team
• Interface cross-functionally with all departments to drive the PLC process
• Provide leadership, coordination, and management of project resources to support customer product lines
• Provide business data enabling strategic and resource planning
• Collaborate with the customer and provide manufacturability feedback
• Assist in the creation of NPI control plan, PFMEA, and GR&R activities
• Support the pilot line and first run manufacturing process
• Develop and support customer relationships
• Assist with all costing and quoting functions
• Participates in efforts toward improved processes and productivity
• Traveling to supplier and customer locations; up to ten percent
• All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Expert project management skills
• Demonstrated cross-departmental knowledge and coordination skills
• Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment, especially Project, Word, and Excel
• Experience working within an ISO 13485 environment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Proficient in multi-tasking between several development activities
• Ability to travel between LISI sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with account management or sales
• Experience in a precision machine shop environment
• LEAN / Six Sigma training and demonstrated application
• Experience with CAD software and print reading
• PMP certified

• Participate in the development and promotion of the HSE culture
• Be exemplary in terms of health, safety and the environment, in particular by :
o Respecting and ensuring respect for the instructions and rules established in the field of health, safety and the environment (in particular the LISI golden rules)
o Immediately correcting, whenever possible, or reporting to his or her superiors and/or the HSE department, any malfunction or risky situation in the fields of health, safety and environmental protection
o Implementing preventive actions to reduce the environmental footprint and control health and safety risks
• Participate, upon request, in analyses (of risks, incidents) and HSE working groups related to his/her professional scope
• Be familiar with the main health and safety risks and the main environmental impacts relating to the scope of his/her work
• Be familiar with the site's HSE policy and objectives
• To be able to make proposals for improving working conditions and limiting environmental impact
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
• Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, or otherwise move about occasionally
• Lift, move or otherwise transfer items up to 30 pounds occasionally
• Exposed to typical machine shop physical hazards occasionally
• Travel by air or car occasionally
