EXEMPTION STATUS	Non-Exempt; No Benefits

 

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

To provide necessary support to the production team, in meeting manufacturing commitments.  Physical labour, attention to detail, problem solving, attendance reliability and teamwork are essential functions of this position.

·         Ability to do shift work – 8 to 10-hour shifts ·         Willing to work overtime if required ·         Must adhere to safety and process requirements ·         Provide own CSA approved safety footwear ·         Must be flexible to cross train throughout the plant ·         Appreciation for quality

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS
Category	Requirements
EDUCATION	·         Minimum of Grade 12 Diploma
EXPERIENCE	·         Experience in performing physical labour is preferred
CERTIFICATIONS/ LICENSES	N/A
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES	·         Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. ·         Able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time ·         Ability to follow instructions ·         Ability to work alone or as a team member ·         Ability to problem solve ·         Tolerant of loud noise ·         Strong attention to detail ·         Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team ·         Reliable attendance
