Weekend 3rd Shift: 

Friday/Saturday Midnight- Noon next day 12A-12P

Saturday/Sunday Midnight- Noon next day 12A-12P

Sunday/Monday Midnight- Noon next day 12A-12P



SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Rep is responsible for executing a tactical strategy to ensure increased sales, profit and growth targets are met. Answer and processes customer request for quote while also finding additional opportunities to expand existing customers via the ERP system for the repair of civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer customer RFQs via phone and email while also identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Input and ship customer exchange and outright orders via ERP system.
  • Assist with meeting the internal plan for revenue and profit of assigned product line.
  • Assist with prevention of aging LRU inventory through strategic planning and quoting.
  • Maintain and assist in growing the company’s current customer base and create new relationships by proactive outreach to understand customer’s business needs.
  • Utilize the ERP system and other company systems to document, track and maintain interaction with customers, request for quotes and product line opportunities.
  • Assist with identifying problem-solving products and/or services for the customer.
  • Potential for 2nd and/or 3rd shift AOG response duties from time to time.
  • Other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES), ETC.):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 to 3 years’ of experience in sales or customer service
  • Ability to communicate technical and customer specific information properly and clearly.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Experience with problem solving in a high stress environment.
  • Demonstrated strong intrapersonal, verbal, and written communication with customers and vendors.


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS (INCLUDES PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES), ETC.):

  • 3 to 4 years’ of experience in sales or customer service
  • Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail when working with internal and customer data.
  • Ability to develop sensible strategies and physical solutions for facilitating workflow, and efficiency in workspace.
  • Previous negotiation skills regarding sales and customer requirements/requests.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects to meet goals and deadlines.
