The Wilderness Resort is seeking a hardworking, dependable, enthusiastic, customer service driven individuals to join our fast-paced team! Employees have access to great benefits, amenity usage, and so much more!

 

Wilderness Resort is currently seeking a Corporate Pilot. This position is responsible for acting as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) or Second-in-Command (SIC) on assigned flights, as designated by the Chief Pilot. With a primary focus on safety, this position will arrange and provide transport on a timely basis by piloting company-operated aircraft.

The primary work location will be located in Wisconsin Dells at the Baraboo-Wisconsin Dells Regional Airport.

Essential duties and tasks of the position include but are not limited too; 

  • Carries out all flight missions of company personnel as requested.
  • Assist the Chief Pilot with all aspects of the flight in accordance with company policy and procedure
  • Assist the Chief Pilot in maintaining the company aircraft and crew in a state of readiness
  • Performs and coordinates the necessary ground operations for flight
  • Prepares and files flight plans
  • Prepares and readies the company aircraft for flight
  • Completes pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight logs
  • Coordinates all food, beverage and other in-flight amenities for passengers
  • Coordinates all over-night lodging, rental cars, and other destination needs for both the crew and the passengers as requested. 
  • Assists with all log entries.
  • Ensuring that all airports and routes are operationally suitable and meet company and industry safety standards
  • Ensuring that air operations are conducted in accordance with national and international regulations, standards and company policy. 
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot. 

Qualifications

  • Holds a current Airline Transport Pilot License (ATP), is type rated in company aircraft and has acquired supervisory experience.  Must demonstrate knowledge with respect to the operations of a flight department, the General Operations Manual and the regulations and standards necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities to ensure safety.

Minimum Experience Required

  • 1,500 total flight hours
  • 1,000 hours as PIC
  • 500 hours multiengine
  • 100 hours turbine engine

Preferred Experience

  • CE560XL Type Rating with PIC privileges
  • Actively flying for the past 12 months
  • Previous experience as a pilot in a corporate flight department

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot or Commercial Pilot Certificate, with Multiengine Airplane and Instrument Privileges
  • Must hold a valid and current FAA 1st Class or 2nd Class medical certificate
  • Must Hold a valid US Passport
  • Must hold a valid US Driver’s License
  • Must hold or qualify for a valid ATP certificate
  • Must hold valid Commercial license
  • Legally eligible for unrestricted domestic and international travel
  • Must hold or the ability to hold a valid type rating in the company aircraft

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to walk and ascend stairs.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, and kneel.
  • Ability to reach with both arms.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently; greater than 50 lbs. upon occasion.
  • Manual dexterity in both hands.
  •  Ability to meet or exceed the Medical Standards and Certification requirements for pilots set forth in 14 C.F.R. Part 67

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college; or four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Minimum of 1500 hours total time with 1000 hours of PIC time, 500 hours of Multi-engine time, and time in turbine aircraft required.
