Position:                           Housekeeping Coordinator

Department:                    Stadium Operations

Reporting Relationship: Manager – Operations and Vendors  

Work Schedule:               Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. as well as, all stadium events (which may include nights, holidays, and/or weekends)

Status:                              Full-Time
 

Position Summary

This position is responsible for coordinating the housekeeping and cleaning of Bank of America Stadium. Scope of work includes coordination with two cleaning companies to ensure daily office cleaning, private event cleaning, and major stadium event cleaning.
 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and provide oversite of all stadium cleaning contracts and vendors.
  • Coordinate stadium event cleaning efforts, including pre clean, event cleaning, and post event cleaning, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Schedule stadium dumpsters, compactors, recycling containers for daily use, and major events.  
  • Oversee cleaning checklists, inventory, and quality control.
  • Coordinate recycling and stadium sustainability and waste.
  • Work with the events department to schedule cleaning for all private events.
  • Ensure stadium cleanliness in areas of high importance.
  • Monitor cleanliness of the bowl, ramps, rooms, storage, loading dock, and office spaces on a daily basis
  • Monitoring progress of vendors and sub-contractors as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of housekeeping/cleaning management, or operations experience in a stadium, or arena.
  • Experience/knowledge of food and beverage cleaning operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel software
  • Must be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends and all Carolina Panthers and Stadium events, including events held on weekends, nights, and holidays when necessary
  • Must have customer service experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must pass pre-employment screening

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with food and beverage operators, concerts, and other stadium events

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be a team player, reliable, and dependable
  • Must be able to handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information with carefully and with sensitivity
  • Must be detail-oriented and must be able to multi-task while managing time successfully

Physical Requirements

  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Sitting and working at desk on a computer
  • Walking throughout the stadium
  • Lift at least 30 pounds

Work Environment

  • This job operates mostly outside and in/around a stadium facility, which may include inclement weather conditions.
