Inventory Support Analyst

1. BASIC PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

·        Provide analysis and support to Procurement Team in a dynamic environment. Run reports pertaining to inventory and service levels to streamline workflow and increase efficiencies. 
 
 

2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

 Running department reports daily and weekly for distribution.

 Collecting data from procurement team while tracking to completion.

 Process paperwork for product returns and work with Buyers on Inventory Reports

 Analyze inventory excess, review with Buyers for next steps.

 Assist in monitoring product in outside storage and follow through until fulfilled.

 Perform other work duties as assigned.
 

  3. KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, ABILITY REQUIRED:

 Strong PC skills.

 Proficiency in all aspects of Excel is critical.

 Efficiency in all aspects of day to day organization.

 Strong customer service skills.

 Strong follow through on critical information.

 Detail oriented with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

 Ability to work with all levels within the company

 Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

 Ability to meet deadlines.

 MAJOR CHALLENGES:

Ability to handle multiple requests and meet various deadlines

 Ability to work within existing systems to develop consistent daily reporting

 Ability to understand service level and inventory requirements

 Ability  to work with vendors and buyers to support the needs of the procurement team.
