Treasury Reconciliation Analyst II
JOB OVERVIEW
Treasury Reconciliation Analysts II are responsible for ensuring all money movement activities match timing and expectations. The analyst is a last line of validation that no erroneous activities have taken place in our banking ecosystem, and all funds are where they are expected to be. The analyst works closely with our Money Movement team to ensure amounts and timing match expectations and take corrective action when they do not. This position prepares daily and monthly bank account reconciliations, as well as customer reconciliations, inefficiencies in processing and data verification. The analyst fosters and manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze daily and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, for accuracy
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly customer activity reconciliation
• Investigate and resolve any money flow variances
• Ensure files/data are stored accurately and securely for future reference
• Comprehend complex concepts and develop new processes, procedures, improvements
• Identify different types of data that need tracking to improve business performance
• Make suggestions for streamlining processes and operational improvements
• Write improved procedures and update as changes are implemented
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to consistently meet all deadlines
• Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to research, organize and prioritize work with limited guidance
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
• A minimum of 3-5 years banking, trust or payment services experience. Could include Finance or Accounting
• Customer service experience, initiating communication with internal customers and/or external vendors
• Strong desire and aptitude to learn and question current processes
• Experience initiating payments in an online banking portal or Treasury Management System
• Prior experience in an analyst role
Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of and experience working with NACHA rules and regulations
• Intermediate to Advanced experience using MS Office programs
• Knowledge of Salesforce and SharePoint
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience
