Job Title: Outdoor Pool Membership Associate
Branch: West Chester YMCA
Pay Class: Part Time
Shifts/Availability: Starting May 1st; 10-15 hrs weeks; Weekdays-Weekends a must at Waterpark (Pool) 11 am-8 pm
Rate: $13.00-$15.00

Position Purpose: The West Chester YMCA is looking for enthusiastic and friendly Membership Associates to greet all members and prospective members and provide guidance pertinent to YMCA programs and activities.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all members and non-members entering and exiting the branch facility and/or outdoor pool
- Direct all inquiries appropriately
- Promote all YMCA programs and services, including membership
- Maintain accurate cash and receipt records
- Understand and properly execute opening and closing procedures
- Maintain a professional lobby or outdoor pool area with proper and current signage
- Monitor traffic in the lobby or pool and direct members, non-members and class participants to the appropriate area
- Respond to issues of member concern with appropriate urgency to the director
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Basic computer knowledge and skills preferred
- Must be 15 years of age or older
- Excellent verbal communication skills required
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Enjoy working with and helping people with a friendly and positive demeanor
