About the YMCA of Greater Brandywine: The YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW), an association of eight YMCAs serving Chester County, is a non-profit organization committed to nurturing the potential of every child, promoting healthy living and fostering social responsibility through life-changing programs for all.
 

Position Purpose:
To plan, organize, and deliver value-driven art and creativity programs to camp participants. These programs should align with the YMCA’s goals and objectives, nurturing individual creativity while fostering a supportive community atmosphere.

 


Responsibilities:

 

  • Design and implement comprehensive art activities that cater to the varied skills and interests of camp participants.
  • Lead art activities, projects, and workshops with enthusiasm, fostering a creative and positive environment.
  • Manage and maintain art supplies and equipment, ensuring they are available and in good condition for all activities.
  • Manages all equipment.
  • Maintains a clean and risk-free environment.
  • Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED
  • Training and qualifications in the specialized instruction area
  • Demonstrate advance knowledge of specialized skill.
  • Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs.
