POSITION SUMMARY: Assists with daily operations of grant-funded, outcomes-based Summer youth development and employment program for high school youth. Responsible for assisting with program planning, scheduling, academic and enrichment interventions, worksite monitoring visits and partnership development and maintenance.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to administer outcomes-based youth program, including activities, 1-2 staff and partnerships.
  • Proven ability to work with people from a variety of different ethnic, socioeconomic, educational, religious, sexual, and generational backgrounds.
  • Ability to assist with the development of  effective partnerships that enhance the program and provide an enriching experience for student participants.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Exchange and Google Platform; use of spreadsheet software such as Excel; use of on-line reporting systems for data entry.
  • Ability to write and communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Assist with implementing and overseeing high quality, developmentally appropriate high-school programs that aligns with grant requirements.
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, training and supervising 1-2 employees.
  • Monitor staff and students hours.
  • Provide data and narrative reports to meet weekly reporting requirements.
  • Seek, develop and maintain relationships with partners that grow and sustain the program.
  • Attend, contribute and help set the agenda for staff meetings.
  • Maintain accurate registration and attendance record of participants.
