Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Corp is a leading manufacturer of Greek and Mediterranean foods for foodservice, national chain and retail grocery, specialty, and warehouse club businesses. We have in Illinois with 2 facilities in Elk Grove Village and one in Glendale Heights, IL. GDK manufactures and distributes specialty meats, flatbreads, dips, spreads, and sauces. 
 

What you will be doing…

• Develop pricing guidelines and processes and roll them out across the organization. Be the first instance for reviewing/approving non-standard deals (subject to escalation thresholds you will help define)
• Conduct and coordinate financial, market, operational research to support strategic pricing, discounting, and trade promotion activity
• Successfully partner with IT to develop requirements and systems enhancements to optimize and increase pricing flexibility
• Monitor impact of price changes and effectiveness through evaluation of SKU performance, market reaction, customer and product-line profitability, and report to the executive leadership team.
• Define pricing policy for commodity-related pricing with procurement and product teams.
• Utilize Trade Promotion Management tool to evaluate and analyze effectiveness of trade promotions programs and strategy
• Support the implementation and use of business intelligence software to support sales reporting, promotion management, customer and product line profitability, as well as other key financial metrics
• Organize monthly and quarterly review package for executives including key financial metrics and performance indicators.
• Support development of annual revenue budget, and lead monthly and quarterly sales forecast process, providing periodic updates to the executive team.
• Assist in the development and oversight of annual incentive plan, including program calculations, accruals, & communications to global organization
• Implement continuous process improvements to reduce finance business process cycle times, improve financial forecast quality, enable team members to spend more time on higher value tasks and enhance information provided to leadership for business decisions.
• Provide coaching and technical support to financial staff on financial analysis and reporting

 

What you need to Have…

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study
• 8+ years of experience in a Manufacturing company, preferably food and beverage industry
• 8+ years of experience in a similar pricing role with leadership experience and solid career progression   
• Strong ERP experience ideally with SAP and business intelligence tools
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees at GDK – from the plant floor to the CEO effectively and clearly in both written and verbal situations
• Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint and ability to learn new technologies
