SUMMARY:The Aftermarket Leaderis responsible formanaging aftermarketprogram for an original equipment manufacturer(OEM). This role requires a deep understanding of aviation aftermarket dynamics, strong leadership skills, and a proven track recordin various aspects of aftermarket program management. As part of the duties, anunderstandingforcontracts, licensing agreements, and certifications and approval processes is required.  

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Interface with domestic and international groupof licensee companies.  

  • Execute comprehensive aftermarket programand service strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of the company. 

  • Manage warranty claims process. 

  • Maintain and manage contract compliance reports. 

  •  Works directly with business teams to draft, negotiate,and manage agreements and documents. 

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identifygrowth opportunities and drive strategic initiatives. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of aftermarket program strategies with internal stakeholders.  

  •  Support authorized licensee network of engine accessory repair stations. 

  • Assistin negotiatingcontracts and agreements with licensees, ensuring terms alignedwith business objectives. 

  • Provides guidance to ensure all contract activities comply withcompany policies and procedures. 

  • Works as a communication bridge between in-house legal counsel, and other functional departments for resolution of contract issues and disputes throughout the contract life cycle. 

  • Assistsin identification, development and implementation of new contract policy and processes that bring value to the company and customer. 

  • Work with internal stakeholders, OEM manufacturing business, distribution, quality, and engineering. 

  • Monitor licensee network performance for compliance toagreements against targets and analyze key metrics to track progress and identifyareas for improvement. 

  • Communicating with and managing insideand/or outsidecounsel on legal issues requiring specific expertise. 

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into aftermarket performance, trends, and opportunities. 

  • Responsible for the support of the distribution of technical publications including the update/ maintenance of the publication distribution portal. 

  • Maintain licensee network product testing correlation plans. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:   

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Aviation Management, Engineering, or related field 

  • 5 years of relevant/technical work experiencein aviation industry.  

  • OR an additional3 yearsspecific work experience in lieu of degree 

  • Contracts management skills. 

  • Technical aviation knowledge. 

  • Strong level of writing in the English language in a legal format 

  • Excellent research, writing, proofreading, and communication skills. 

  • Experience managing work claims process and contract compliance reports. 

  • Knowledge of aviation technical publications management and distribution. 

  • Experience in contract negotiating and auditing tocontract requirements. 

  • Knowledge of licensing networks of authorized repair facilities. 

  • Proficiencyin Customer relationship managementsystems(CRM), forecasting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. 

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Master’s degree 

  • 9+ years of relevant experience 

 

OTHERREQUIREMENTS:
