Vice President, Sales

Job Description

The responsibilities associated with the role are to drive sales growth, maintain a viable pipeline, and develop strategies to aggressively advance opportunities through the sales funnel. Your responsibilities will encompass a blend of strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on sales execution. The key aspects of this role:

  1. Team Development and Leadership:
    • Develop and lead a team of direct reports, collaborating closely with dealers and sales support.
    • Set a compelling vision, strategy, and direction for the sales unit, aligning it with broader business objectives.
    • Foster a winning sales culture by communicating the strategy, establishing effective processes, and continuously developing the skills of the team.
  2. Business Objectives and Targets:
    • Set clear business objectives, metrics, and sales targets for the team.
    • Allocate resources effectively to ensure successful execution.
    • Conduct opportunity reviews, territory/account planning, and customer engagement checkpoints throughout the sales process.
  3. Collaboration and Influence:
    • Collaborate across the entire organization, including legal, finance, marketing and operations to achieve overall business success.
    • Identify market trends, competitive strategies, and potential new growth opportunities.
    • Engage with key decision-makers and multiple stakeholders to advance the sales process.
    • Adopt, embrace, and advance the use of Verisma’s sales strategies and tools including Revenue Storm (and/or others as necessary), Salesforce CRM, and the concepts associated with strategic selling.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience:  A minimum of ten-years related sales experience in the healthcare industry that includes Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, Information Technology, Diagnostics, or similar field.
  • Certifications/Association Memberships:  AHIMA, HIMSS, HFMA, RSNA, MGMA, etc.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and contracting skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Adept at Salesforce (CRM)
    • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
    • Ability to influence growth opportunities through a comprehensive understanding of the product portfolio.
