Incumbent is responsible for managing strategic communication campaigns at Hiring Our Heroes (HOH), a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.  


  • Support day-to-day marketing and communication activities.
  • Create marketing content, briefing presentations, and other projects.
  • Work closely with the director of Strategic Communications to maintain and execute primary programmatic initiatives.
  • Design and implement strategic communication campaigns in support of programmatic and stakeholder priorities while collaborating with campaign managers to ensure alignment with the organization’s mission, voice, and brand.
  • Manage the production of quarterly reports for strategic partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



  • 3-5 years of marketing experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent managerial, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Creativity and the ability to think strategically.
  • Self-starter, problem solver, and decision maker.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of nonprofit, government, and corporate interests.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
