SENIOR ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ANALYST
Responsible for processing vendor payment runs for multiple business lines. Manages a variety of inquiries from internal and external sources specifically time sensitive and escalated issues. Troubleshoots and resolves payment discrepancies, banking errors or ledger reconciliations.
The work location for this role is flexible if approved by UniGroup except this position may not be performed remotely from Colorado.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Processes invoices, processes payments, journal entries and reimbursements.
•Audits and completes entry for new vendor/change requests.
•Maintain records, systems information and monthly/quarterly reports.
•Responds to escalated customer and vendor inquiries.
•Verifies and makes corrections to information transactions to ensure smooth transition through various systems and accuracy of reports.
•Audits employee expense reports to verify compliance with company travel and expense policy
•Maintains and reconciles company corporate card programs including transaction validation
•Reviews and authorizes payment transactions with our operating bank partners
•Handles confidential information with discretion.
•Develops and maintains ISO operating procedures and Quality forms for the Accounts Payable department.
•Assists with the training of new employees.
•Performs a variety of other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
Education, License or Certification:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business field or equivalent experience.
•3-5 years experience in business
