*This position is based out of our Denver, CO office but eligible for a hybrid remote schedule. 
 
Starting pay range 
$20-23/hr depending on experience.

JOB OVERVIEW
The Billing Associate position encompasses a wide range of activities with involvement in all phases of billing and business administration functions. The ideal candidate will efficiently, accurately, and timely manage multiple tasks and priorities, adhering to strict reporting deadlines. A billing associate is responsible for the accurate payment and invoice processing for Financial Advisors and end clients ensuring accurate and timely financial reports for auditing purposes.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
  • Schedules and maintains billing for advisor management fees, EAS/ETC Custodial fees, and fee reporting
  • Collect outstanding Advisor invoices
  • Audit client accounts for outstanding fees
  • Create and maintain client fee structures
  • Research and respond to routine Advisor billing and billing statement inquires
  • Data entry of billing information into the portfolio management software
  • Reconcile Quarter End Data for Client Accounts
  • Reconcile daily Negative Cash Balance report
  • Produce and deliver payable summary reports
  • Post Management Fees on behalf of Advisors and Representatives to client accounts
  • Communicate Quarterly Advisor Invoices and status
  • Produce Ad Hoc reports for receivables and outstanding fees
  • Facilitate management fee corrections
  • Frequently communication by phone or email with Advisors and Representatives
  • Help build customized Reports for Advisors and Representatives
  • Generate monthly and quarterly account statements
  • Resolve reporting discrepancies in billing procedures or client accounts
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure while handling heavy workloads, multiple simultaneous projects, and time sensitive work constraints in a deadline driven environment
  • Must be a self-starter, well-organized, extremely detail-oriented and can work closely with staff members at all levels of the organization in a cooperative, team-oriented manner
  • Demonstrates high level of positive energy and drive
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • A degree in Business, Accounting or related field is preferred but not required
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience required

TECHNICAL SKILLS
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with and an understanding of the following: 
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) 
  • Ability to analyze and organize large amounts of data
  • Willingness to present status reports to Relationship Managers, Advisors and Executive Management

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
