JOB TITLE: Talent Management & Organizational Development Specialist

REPORTS TO: Director, Talent Management & Organizational Development   

DEPARTMENT: Talent Management

FLSA Status:  Exempt    

Job Objective:

This role will be a project owner with a focus on all talent initiatives including talent reviews, career ladders, organizational design, and continuous performance management. Will work cross functionally across several internal teams to drive and measure success for talent management processes.

 Essential Job Functions:

  • Manages the implementation of all talent, leadership development processes, policies, and procedures
  • Works collaboratively with L&D and HR leaders’ team to develop a healthy leadership pipeline for the organization
  • Facilitates the individual development planning processes for managers
  • Guides senior leaders with individual development best practices and facilitates the overall implementation of career mapping of high potentials, emerging leaders and managers included as successors
  • Partners with L&D & HR leaders to develop organizational strategies that improve business goals.  This may include planning and change management plans, post-survey analysis and action plans senior leadership team development that supports the TRHC Way.
  • Leads manager development programs by presenting, and/or developing content or support materials for specified programs.
  • Responsible for planning events, projects and/or talent engagement initiatives to promote organizational culture.
  • Assesses needs and develop talent strategies that scale across TRHC
  • Creates branded decks to support talent management related initiatives.
  • Manages program nomination activities including identifying nominees, communication and training progress.
  • Tracks and maintains the database of talent review actions to ensure follow through and measurement of impact and success.
  • Facilitates employee education and feedback sessions related to talent workstreams.
  • Provide analytical support of Talent Management data and feasibility of proposed business strategies.
  • Conduct internal and external benchmarking research for talent management to inform the broader strategy.

Qualification Requirements:


  • Demonstrated project management capability
  • Experience working with diverse project teams in a matrixed environment
  • Strong analytical ability, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and follow through
  • Expert with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage change and work effectively in a matrixed and fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Team-oriented and works well in a collaborative environment
  • HRIS systems experience
  • Ability to extract, organize and analyze enterprise-wide data sets from HR and operational systems
  • Demonstrated orientation to understanding the business and business strategy, and the ability to apply talent management process and tools to support strategic business objectives
  • Effective presentation, facilitation, and advocacy skills, to achieve meaningful outcomes


Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or related field

Experience & Training:

  • 3-4 years of experience in HR-related functions that includes management/leadership development and talent review.
  • Preferred: Project management experience

EXPECTED WORK HOURS:  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

TRAVEL: May be required to travel to off-site location(s) to attend meetings, as necessary.
