JOB TITLE:   Pharmacy Center Operations Supervisor                                  DATE: 02/09/2022

 

REPORTS TO:     Pharmacy Manager        

 

FLSA: Exempt

               

JOB PURPOSE:

The Operations Supervisor oversees para-professional support of Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and center operations. The Operations Supervisor must possess a comprehensive knowledge, experience, and understanding of MedwiseRx operations and operational software, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and resource consultant to organizational members and end-users, as well as supporting MedwiseRx leadership by providing requested recommendations and information for operational decision-making.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

·         Establishes and manages weekly production goals for MedwiseRx MTM operations in collaboration with center leadership.

·         Coordinates the center workload, staffing levels and assignments, and oversees the production levels for assigned programs and work sites.

·         Defines and establishes the percentage of operational production activity for each client account.

·         Prepares informational reports that are based on data from internal and external sources; working with other internal and external sources to organize and represent operational data and information in a unified and structured format.

·         Prepares written communication and/or materials, statements, or reports on program activities and operations, progress towards defined goals and objectives, changes in program status, or any other ad-hoc reports requested for distribution to management, internal/external clients, or other supporting agencies or organizations.

·         Oversees, completes, and supervises activities and functions for assigned program operations; ensuring that all goals and objectives specified are successfully accomplished in accordance with the established priorities, timelines, assigned budget, and deliverables.

·         Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D.; Preferred: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an approved and accredited college or university.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 2 years in customer service, healthcare, or other relevant experience.
  • Experience leading the development of and/or roll out of a key business initiative and/or program.
  • Preferred Pharmacy and/or call center management experience.
  • Preferred experience in Medication Therapy Management (MTM).

 

LICENSING/CERTIFICATION:

  • Preferred a Pharmacy Technician license in good standing with the respective state pharmacy licensing board or must pursue licensure within the first 6 months of employment.
  • PTCB and/or EXCPT is required

   OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Ability to motivate employees, resolve issues, and make difficult decisions
  • Advanced skills and understanding of computer software, healthcare systems and programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: specifically, MS Excel.
  • Advanced skills and understanding in utilizing organizational systems, programs, and software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally through written, verbal, and interpersonal skills as applied when interacting with employees, clients, or agency representatives; successfully conveying and exchanging information in a positive manner.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and projects, meeting deadlines and budget constraints in a dynamic business environment.
  • Proficient understanding of Medication Therapy Management operations and software programs preferred.

Uses of basic office equipment within corporate and home office environment.  Will be filing (lifting, reaching, bending) and possibly lifting boxes, up to 10 lbs. 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position works in an office environment with moderate noise, including

some work situations that could present repetitive muscular and vision strain
