General Responsibilities: |
|
The Associate Medical Director of Convenient Care, in conjunction with the Convenient Care and site management teams including the Medical Director of Convenient Care, is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the provision of Convenient Care services at all Thundermist locations, as well as providing clinical care to patients in accordance with the policies, procedures and philosophies of Thundermist Health Center. The Associate Medical Director is a key member of the on-site management team, working closely with the Medical Director, Practice Manager/Director, and Manager/Director of Nursing in a variety of areas, including site/provider clinical quality performance and clinical operations. The Associate Medical Director plays a major role in supporting the mission of the health center in the community by acting as a liaison between the health center and the wider health professional community. The Associate Medical Director works closely with the Medical Director in the area of clinical risk management and issues pertaining to provider clinical performance. They would also be involved in Clinical Quality Improvement and Professional Development projects. |
