The Learning Facilitator leads classes, workshops, and training events centered around employee growth and professional development. This role will also be responsible for administering the mentoring programs and communications to employees on course and program completion. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Learning and Development, this position will support the organization in achieving goals and objectives through learning aligned with our mission, core values, and KPIs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers assigned courses (both traditional and virtual)
- Maintains and revises course materials as required
- Maintains extensive knowledge of current best practices, training approaches, and organization/function and current activities
- Conducts classroom administration (set-up/break down; attendance; utilizes virtual meeting techniques)
- Participates in professional development activities (adult learning techniques, training methods, course development skills, etc.)
- Engages students in the course content in a positive way that facilitates individual learning
- Applies principles of adult learning theory to course delivery
- Facilitates group activities in the classroom to achieve behavioral outcomes
- Manages employee learning activities and participates in coaching to improve employee skills (e.g., listening, questions, etc.)
- Partners with the Instructional Designer to implement adult learning strategies and theories
- Facilitates New Employee Orientation training, when needed
- Manages the logistics and administration of off-site leadership conferences and retreats
- Partners with the Learning and Development Manager to administer the mentoring programs
- Participates in giving and receiving feedback for personal, team, and organizational growth
- Demonstrates ability to build learning and development resources such as job aids, tutorial videos, skill-based learning assessments, e-learning modules, and more.
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, or a related field (Organizational Development, Leadership Development, Instructional Design); or equivalent experience
- At least three (3) years of training experience
- Possess expertise in the facilitation of learning and the transfer of job-related knowledge
- Highly experienced in motivating learners and engaging a variety of learning techniques to ensure context specific learning

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Jacksonville, FL or North Florida location preferred.
- Work is remote with travel up to four times a year.
