To provide a clean and pleasant environment for the guest, by maintaining the cleanliness and the appearance of guest accommodations and public space. This position may spend a large amount of time assisting other departments in a wide variety of duties based on the needs of the hotel.
Duties and Responsibilities
Including, but not limited to:
1.Greet and welcome the guest. Offer assistance to the guest and respond to the guest’s needs promptly and courteously.
2.Clean corridors, guest areas, lobby, service areas and linen closets
3.Empty housekeepers' trash and linen bags
4.Carry trash to dumpster
5.Deliver rollaway beds and cribs to guestrooms
6.Turn mattresses as directed by management
7.Stock supplies needed for linen closets
8.Vacuum public areas and corridors
9.Mop vending machine areas and keep machines clean
10.Check and clean all public restrooms several times daily
11.Check an clean all elevators several times daily
12.Assist with luggage handling
13.Strip beds and/or clean rooms when needed
14.Check lights and change bulbs
15.Maintain outside grounds daily
16.Assist in the unloading and storing of deliveries
17.Complete duties and confirm on shift checklist as assigned
18.Various other duties assigned by Supervisor
