Advancement Services Manager
Working with the Director of Advancement, the Advancement Services Manager is responsible for driving data management and business practices to support the growth and expansion of advancement revenues. This charge includes, but is not limited to:
Configuring and maintaining a donor management system,
Tracking progress and strategy for Stevenson's fundraising initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities:
Serve as primary designer of Slate for Advancement including but not limited to managing user setup, profiles and roles, customization
of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, etc.Implementation of Slate’s Advancement tools including gift processing and fundraising modules;
Support Advancement staff with on-going record management, gift processing, and constituency communication efforts;
Facilitate the integration of shared data between Advancement and other School units;
Development of constituency portals (Pirate Pages) to better support online giving opportunities and school communication efforts;
Produce internal donor and gift reports to support Advancement strategy.
In collaboration with the Director of Advancement, produce reports on advancement activities for the board of trustees and outside
organizations.Supervise the Advancement Services Administrator and Advancement Associate in the role of supporting the Advancement team.
Manage the annual calendar of operations, coordinating with advancement staff, and other offices to assure deadlines are met.
As a member of the Annual Fund team, the Advancement Services manager is specifically responsible for helping to produce mailings,
supervise the production of queries and reports, and manage the logistics of annual fund systems.
Position qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Computer or Information Science or a related field preferred.
Knowledge, skills and abilities: Three to five years of high-level experience with Slate, expert knowledge of SQL and relational
SQL-based database systems, knowledge of HTML, CSS and knowledge of common information security best practices.
