POSITION SUMMARY: The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for all dining room operations, ensuring a safe and hospitable dining experience for residents and their guests. These activities will fulfill the SageLife Mission and demonstrate the We Care Values and the Sage Associate Promise. |

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: 1. Practice The Sage Way and Live the Values – Commit to and demonstrate the We Care Values & Sage Promises 2. Ensure that dining room operations are conducted safely and meet sanitation guidelines, and that the dining room is clean and well organized, and equipment is well maintained. 3. Train and orient dining room staff on service standards and Daylesford policies and procedures. 4. Manage dining room staff, ensuring that the dining room is adequately staffed, and that staff are meeting service standards and dressed appropriately. 5. Ensure that the dining room is hospitable and welcoming for residents and guests—monitor cleanliness, lighting, linens, utensil quality and placement, and background music. 6. Monitor the intake and food preferences of residents and communicate any issues to the Health & Wellness Director. 7. Coordinate room service trays with Resident Assistants. 8. Keep current with all state and facility required annual training. 9. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school or GED equivalent Experience: Two years as a hostess in a restaurant setting. Skills: Strong organizational and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to speak, read, and understand English at a 12th grade level or higher. Licensures and Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 25 pounds without assistance. Able to hear, speak, bend, stoop, stand, reach as needed. Able to carry out responsibilities according to company or state guidelines and with limited or no supervision.
Other Requirements: Able to stay beyond scheduled shift in the event of an emergency or inclement weather. |
