Ross Video is a rapidly expanding broadcast industry solutions provider. In the position of Regional Sales Manager – Mexico, Central Latam & Caribbean, you will direct and coordinate activities of organizations engaged in the sale of Ross Video products, providing customer services, to client organizations.

What the job is all about:

The position will include, but is not limited to, the following duties personally or through assistance with Sales Co-coordinator(s) and Media Marketing department.

  • Negotiating and closing sales.
  • Meet monthly orders targets.
  • Build/maintain relationships with end users by calling and visiting customer facilities directly to promote Ross products and services.
  • Delivers sales presentations to clients and re-sellers in the Territory.                                                                           
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate and individual territorial goals.
  • Ensure the sales and marketing of the product line follows the Ross Video code of ethics.                                                                                                                         
  • Develops and maintains sales forecasting activities and assists in setting territory sales goals with integrators and dealers.
  • Perform market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Directs dealer channel development activity in the territory and coordinates sales distribution by establishing re-seller, system integrators sales territories, quotas and goals.
  • Advises and assists end users, re-sellers and system integrators concerning sales and purchase of Ross Video Product line.
  • Work as a system and product consultant in conjunction with Solution Architects to help customers with their technical challenges and propose the appropriate solutions and products.
  • Design high-level broadcast and audiovisual solutions so Solutions Architect can work on the high-level diagrams.
  • Keep updated regarding the industry technologies to secure system integration in the most efficient way.
  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers and re-sellers in promoting sales.
  • Assists in directing product marketing to the client base to establish Ross Video products in the region.
  • Represents the company at trade association meetings to promote products.                                                                                                                       
  • Assist in coordination and liaison between sales department and other sales-related units.
  • Assists other departments within the organization to prepare marketing plans specific to the territory.
  • Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
  • Reviews articles in trade publications to keep abreast of technological developments in types of professional equipment merchandised.
  • Ensure the Sales and marketing of the product line follows the Ross Video code of ethics.                                                                                                                        
  • Assists in resolving customer complaints regarding equipment, supplies, and services.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

Who you are:

  • Knowledge/Education/Training/Experience:
  • 10+ years’ experience in TV Broadcast & Audio Visual Industry
  • Experience Selling & Marketing Broadcast Equipment
  • Strong Technical/Engineering Background
  • Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications / Computer Science degree desirable
  • Experience Designing/Implementing/Managing Integrated Broadcast Systems
  • Familiarity with Key Components Used in Broadcast Electronics Products
  • Knowledge of Major Broadcast Transmission Standards
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills  
  • Knowledge of use of Ross Video products & Willingness to Learn and Demonstrate Ross Video Products
