The Strategic Account Manager directs and coordinates the sale of Ross Video products and services and provides customer services to customer organizations alongside Ross Inside Sales Representatives and our Media Marketing department. This highly integral member of the team will represent Ross Video within a highly focused set of strategic accounts in the Network Television portfolio.

 

You will be building strategic, long term relationships with end users by calling on customer facilities directly to promote Ross products and services. This is both a hands-on and strategic position where you will be implementing strategic sales plans to accommodate territorial goals, engaging Product Managers in regular presentations to customers, assisting with the resolution of customer concerns and negotiating and closing sales.

 

You will have monthly order targets to meet and will be developing and maintaining sales forecasting activities and assisting in setting sales goals with integrators and business partners, where applicable.

What the job is all about:

  • Deliver sales presentations to customers in person and remote                                                         
  • Ensure the sales and marketing of product line follows the Ross Video code of ethics                                                                                                                      
  • Perform market analyses to determine customer needs and price schedules
  • Work in conjunction with the Ross Global sales support teams where the portfolio of Strategic accounts has locally-based business entities
  • Advises and assists end-users concerning sales and purchase of Ross Video Product line.
  • Assists in directing product marketing to customer base to establish Ross Video products in the region.
  • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.                                                                                                                       
  • Assist in coordination and liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
  • Assists other departments within organization to prepare marketing plans specific to the strategic account portfolio
  • Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed sales expansion.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
  • Reviews articles in trade publications to keep abreast of technological developments in types of professional equipment merchandised.

 

Who you are:

  • Significant experience selling & marketing video experience technology to Television Networks and affiliated business units
  • Familiarity with key components used in video experience technology
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Understanding of strategic sales process
  • Excellent communication & presentation Skills
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of use of Ross Video products
  • Lateral Thinker
  • Willing to Travel up to 60% of the time
  • Northeast USA based (preferred)
