We are looking for an exceptional talent to join Ross as a Project Coordinator. At Ross, we’re proud to name this role as Services Operations Specialist. Our Services Operation Specialist mandate is to support a multi-disciplinary team in the effective and efficient delivery of value added services within the Asia Pacific (APAC) region for Ross Video clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

You will work closely with the APAC Services Manager daily and will be able to operate autonomously when required.  You will be highly organized and possess the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and associated deliverables under tight timelines.

This position is a combination of resource scheduling, demonstration & tradeshow equipment management, event planning and execution, demo & training room scheduling, and other operational activities.

What the job is all about:

  • Managing the day-to-day scheduling of our team of Demo Artists, Trainers, support specialists, and Commissioners.  Using a combination of Salesforce, RISS, and Resource Guru software to review the requirements of internal demo requests and customer driven training requests, as well as liaising with the Project manager, to ensure that Ross resources are assigned as appropriate to their skill set.
  • The Ross Singapore office holds a number of demo equipment and also stock of shelved piece part items for the purpose of providing onsite and online demonstrations and training to customers in the office.  You will be responsible for ensuring that the Demo equipment is managed correctly.  You will ensure that Demo Artists are scheduled time to prepare their kits for a given Demo or Training.  
  • As well as scheduling the appropriate Demo Artists and Trainers, for internal Demonstrations and training events, you will also manage scheduling of the Singapore Demo and Training facilities.
  • Ross Video participates in a number of industry tradeshows and conferences.  You will work closely with Sales and Marketing to provide operational planning and execution support related to these important events.
  • Responsible for liaising with our logistics firm to manage various freight forwarding documentation including Carnets and tax deferment forms related to the collection, delivery, and return of the Ross equipment, marketing collateral, and correspondence (eg. e-mail, letters, packages etc.).
  • You will also use the Ross purchasing system to raise requisitions and expenses for equipment, tools and sundries required for the day-to-day running of the Singapore office equipment and supplies.
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Assist with ad-hoc administrative or event-related duties if required.

Who you are:

  • Diploma or above in IT or engineering, or equivalent Project Management certfications.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in project coordination or project management roles.
  • Prior experience in a technology equipment manufacturer is advantageous.
  • Experience working with Sales Force and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to be a team player who is analytical, highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project planning and coordination capabilities.
