SMT Line Operator (Job Req #2022-483)

The SMT Line Operator is responsible for utilizing setup documents to pick, setup parts on feeders, load on feeder carts and perform changeover for the SMT lines. Working closely with Pick and Place Operator/Technician’s to ensure efficiencies within the pick and place set-ups, as well as defect issues at the AOI and reflow. Fully understanding the operation of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), with respect to on-line documentation, WIP tracking and defect management.

What the job is all about:   

• AOI machine operation, including adhering to the First off Procedure to ensure assembly quality throughout the run 
• Board labelling  
• Work the manual paste dispense station  
• Maintaining ESD practices  
• Adhering to MSDS procedures 
• Keeping up to date on Manufacturing technology and new processes 
• Other duties as assigned

• Capable of following procedures and work logically  
• Detail oriented  
• Conscientious and willing to ask questions  
• Exceptional aptitude for learning  

  

Bonus points if you have the following:   

• Manufacturing experience in a PCBA SMT environment
