PT- Weekend Direct Support Professional (DSP) Howard County

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. You will assist with personal hygiene, cooking, and cleaning. Assisting with development of meaningful and personal relationships, assisting with community involvement, and Implementing strategies to achieve individuals’ personal goals.

This position is part-time, Saturday and Sunday 9 AM to 11PM working with women.

Some lift and transfer may be required.

Paid trainings, including CPR/First Aid and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification!

DSP’s assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by:

Cultivating and expanding independent living skills and implementing strategies to achieve individuals’ personal goals.
$500 Bonus Pay Out Structure: $250 – First Day; $250 – after three months
You must remain in the designated position for the time intervals specified above to qualify for the bonus payout.

Eligible candidates must have a high school degree/GED and a current driver’s license with less than three points on the driving record.
