About this Opportunity:

Regency Centers is seeking a Lease Administrator to join our corporate office located in Jacksonville, FL. This person will be responsible for performing the day-to-day activities related to lease administration, including abstracting critical lease information and entering data into lease abstraction software. Review of peer work to ensure accuracy of information. Emphases on the quality of data abstracted because information will be used by numerous other departments within Regency Centers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Abstract and interpret retail lease documents such as leases, amendments, subleases and termination agreements. Input lease data into accounting/lease system platform.

  • Review peer abstracts to ensure all critical lease data is captured and entered accurately into accounting/lease system platform including tenant billing information, lease dates, square footage, recurring charges, lease option, etc.

  • Review and post tenant billing adjustments to tenant accounts.

  • Track and work with leasing and property management teams to obtain required documentation such as delivery letters, rent commencement notices and permit approval dates.

  • Interface with and respond to requests from internal organizations such as Accounting, Finance and Legal on tenant/property information requests.

  • Review and maintain Consumer Price Index tables and process annual CPI rent escalations.

  • Maintain and update tenant naming and use descriptions for reporting purposes.

  • Responsible for additional Lease administrative duties which include scanning and storing lease documents, correspondence, and routing of checks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree OR equivalent work experience required

  • 1 – 2 years of administrative experience working with deadlines

  • Experience reading, comprehending, and interpreting documents

  • Experience with analyzing and problem solving

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Intermediate level math skills, with the ability to calculate and review prorated billings.
