Job Summary Teen and College Access Program Recruitment & Enrollment Administrator recruits and enrolls 9th, 10th & 11th graders in the Teen After School Program at the Honickman Learning Center Comcast Technology Labs, ensures compliance of students files and provides administrative support to the program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and facilitate the Teen and College Access Program recruitment plan by:
    • Research and secure outreach/recruitment opportunities to promote program to 19121 & 19132 residents
    • Plan and participate in new student recruitment activities at local schools and community events
    • Publicize the Teen and College Access Program and distribute flyers, brochures, applications, and information about the program to the 19121 and 19132 communities
    • Reach out to neighborhood groups and community organizations in the targeted areas
    • Assist Teen Program Manager in planning a fall and spring teen program open house
  • Build relationships with high school students enrolled in an after-school college access program and provide basic guidance around building program schedules, professional conduct, etc.
  • Enroll students in program and maintain student registration paperwork, files and participation documents
  • Ensure student files are in compliance with Out of School Time contracts
  • Verify daily student attendance and enter in ETO and City Span student databases in accordance with Out of School Time contracts; distribute monthly attendance to team
  • Track student incentive earnings and issue payments in accordance with Out of School Time contracts
  • Track student Key Performance Indicators in accordance with Out of School Time contracts and report to team
  • During the school year, running 2 workshops / month (topics can include life skill building, art & craft making, social emotional learning, wellness, etc.); covering study hall; and facilitating sign in and sign out process
  • During the summer, facilitate and support employment and service-learning opportunities for 40 High School students, including helping to grow our partner organizations and relationships with supervisors, and assisting in the planning of Professional Development workshops
  • Compile Technology Assessments (annually in November and May)
  • Arrange and help chaperone field trips and events
  • Maintain Teen Program bulletin board, social media page, website and other program communications to teens and parents
  • Other administrative support, as needed, for Teen Program Manager
Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience facilitating workshops with students
  • Experience working in school or after school programs   
  • Experience recruiting participants for classes, events, programs, etc    
  • Excellent organization, communication, and computer skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Valid Driver’s License
