Job Summary The Clinical Lead, Psychiatric Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) will be responsible for leading and managing the strategy, clinical care, quality improvement, and systems change and integration of outpatient psychiatric and psychotherapy services for Project Home Healthcare Services (PHHS). Additionally, this provider will provide clinical supervision for PHHS’s Medication for Opioid Use Disorder Program (MOUD). Duties will be performed in support of the Project HOME mission to ensure that high quality integrated psychiatric care and MOUD treatment are accessible to our patients and residents resulting in better quality of life.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Psychiatric CRNP

Patient Care Management

·         Work collaboratively with a physician and/or mental health provider of record, (if one exists), to provide                                  comprehensive mental health services to adults, youth, and families.

·         Initial appointment is typically 60 min.  Follow up appointments are typically 20 min. Provider 7 half day sessions of              patient care per week

·         Document care provided in the electronic health record; meeting standards for quarterly chart reviews.

·         Work at main location at 2144 Cecil B. Moore Avenue for majority of time, as well as the Hub in Suburban Station,                providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management, as needed


Consultation and Referral

·         Seek consultations as appropriate, act as a consultant as requested.

·         Perform comprehensive assessments and refer patients for further care and services within the Wellness Center,                  Project HOME,  and/or the larger community.


Collaboration/Process Improvement

·         Clinical supervision with onsite physicians and off-site psychiatrist will be provided

·         Identify system specific problems, which require evaluation and/or change; work with appropriate staff to resolve                  these issues by participating in performance improvement processes.

·         Perform other duties as assigned or requested.


Clinical Lead

Clinical, Strategic, and Administrative Leadership/Management 

·         Serve as a member of the PHHS Leadership Team

·         Define and ensure adherence to clinical standards and provider productivity targets of care for psychiatric services

·         Provide clinical and administrative supervision psychiatric nurse, psychiatric nurse practitioner and psychiatric nurse            practitioner student

·         Provide clinical and administrative supervision for the Program Manager for the MOUD program

·         Perform other duties as assigned or requested.


Education

·         Provide a site for student education as requested.

·         Provide on-going training to Wellness Center staff.


Required
Qualifications

·         Masters level Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, national board and state certification required

·         Minimum 3 years of experience providing clinical, systems, and administrative supervision to clinical and non-clinical            staff

·         Experience and comfort treating a wide range of mental health issues, including severe mental disorders and                        substance abuse.

·         Experience with treating mental health needs of marginalized and vulnerable racial, ethnic, religious, LGBTQIA                    community required.

·         Experience working to integrate mental and behavioral health into primary care for                                                                  marginalized/vulnerable/minority/homeless communities


Preferred Qualifications
:

·         Prior experience defining, creating, managing, and implementing strategy for mental health in large nonprofit                       organizations with senior leadership

·         Experience in budgeting

·         Specialized training and clinical experience in psychotherapy

·         Experience with children and families seen as an asset
