ABOUT THE ROLE
Parker Poe is seeking an attorney with five or more years of experience to join their Banking & Capital Markets Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience representing lenders with construction loans, term financing, builder lines, syndicated facilities, revolving credit facilities, and mezzanine financing, including and running key aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing. This is a unique opportunity to be a core member of an active practice working directly with the lead partner.

Experience representing lenders with construction loans, term financing, revolving credit facilities, syndicated facilities and mezzanine financing is preferred. The attorney will be responsible for interacting with clients, drafting and negotiating loan documents, assisting with review due diligence matters, preparing closing documents, and coordinating loan closings. The attorney must have experience in the real estate field, including review of title and survey, easements, restrictive covenants and condominium documents. Candidates must have strong academic credentials, be detail-oriented, be able to manage a high work flow in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent drafting skills. Prior experience in a sophisticated law firm practice is preferred.

ABOUT THE PRACTICE
We represent community banks and major regional, national, and international financial institutions. These clients include borrowers and investors whom we represent in the structuring, negotiating, and closing of a wide range of loans and other financings and financial transactions.
