Job Description
Pacific Mobile Structures is a privately help company with a proven track record in the commercial modular building industry since 1983. We are seeking a temporary laborer to join our set-crew for the summer. As part of our team, the Laborer will be a key part of our building set-crew. You will be helping with projects that range from the basic installation of relocatable classrooms to complete "turnkey" projects that include all site improvement and utility work for customer as various as office buildings, medical clinics, government services, and workforce housing. You must have physical strength, endurance, and work well with your hands. Being good in collaboration and following instructions and safety rules, are also important. Modular Building Set
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading material and equipment.
- Install mobile/modular buildings, block and level/CMU and pony wall foundations.
- Build decks, porches, ramps and steps, trusses, sheathing, roofing, and gables as needed.
- Assisting with the installation of modular building and trailers.
- Driving company truck to and from job site.
- Moving and lifting building supplies.
- Painting as directed.
- Handling material, tools and supplies for crew level 2, 3, foreman and crew lead.
- Keeping truck clean and washed as needed.
- Keeping job site clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety requirements.
- Working as a team to get the job done.
** This is a temporary position beginning mid-June and will require through the end of August.**
Hourly Rate: $19.00 with a potential to earn up to $50 an hour with prevailing wage jobs when applicable.
