Summary |
This position is responsible for performing general maintenance throughout the entire facility including but not limited to; daily safety inspections, facility repairs and maintenance, attraction repairs and maintenance and other tasks as assigned by the Director of Maintenance. |
Roles & Responsibilities |
· Perform general facility-wide maintenance and related work on roofing, exterior and interior buildings and structures, restrooms, food building and pump rooms · Lead and assist with daily carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical projects · Responsible for assisting with inspecting and maintaining park attractions to meet all safety and performance standards · Install, maintain, service, and rebuild a wide array of mechanical equipment including slides, pools, pumps/motors, commercial kitchen equipment, etc. to maintain safety and operational standards · Perform routine housekeeping to keep work areas safe, clean and organized · Perform landscaping duties as assigned including mowing, line trimming, grounds cleanup, pruning and planting · Performs water quality duties as assigned (training provided) · Perform in-park post-season and off-season tasks such as fall leaf cleanup, winterization of selected pool systems, snow removal and preventative maintenance/ repairs items · Provide quality workmanship while consistently meeting all established deadlines and budgets · Adhere to all safety policies and procedures at all times · Properly document work performed along with time and materials used per park policies and procedures · Report any maintenance, mechanical and budget issues to the Director of Maintenance in a timely and complete manner · Other duties as assigned

Requirements |
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Languages: Fluent English
Skills:
· Ability to function in a dynamic work environment with multiple ongoing projects · Ability to prioritize projects in real time with the park’s best interest in mind · Strong communication regarding project status, needs and solutions · Ability to learn and apply park best-practices in regards to maintenance and operations · This position requires standing, walking, crouching, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting, pushing, crawling, reaching high and low, climbing stairs and ladders · Ability to work in adverse conditions, including sunny, hot, cold, windy, rainy, and noisy environments · Ability to frequently lift, carry or move items weighing up to 60 pounds · Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays · Applicants must have the ability to use hand and power tools · Must be comfortable working in small or confined areas · Ability to write clearly, read, and communicate the English language · Must have an excellent attendance record
Experience:
· A background in a related trade such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting or landscaping is preferred but not required · Familiarity with commercial pools, systems, and equipment preferred but not required · Mechanical aptitude · Use of various landscaping equipment
Other:
· Must be 18 years of age or older · Ability to pass a background check

Internal: Park Management, Park Team Members & contracted Team Members.
External: Maintenance vendors and trades such as plumbers, electricians, carpenters, site work contractors, deliveries, chemical suppliers, pump repair technicians.
