Pittsburgh HUB – Group Sales Representative

Summary:  

The Group Sales Representative is responsible for the development and performance of all group sales activities for Kennywood, Idlewild & Soakzone, and Sandcastle waterpark. This person will work directly with the Sales Hub Director, park, and corporate leadership to meet attendance, revenue, and guest service goals.

Roles & Responsibilities 

• Generate new business and close sales opportunities for Kennywood, Idlewild and SoakZone, and Sandcastle
• Research and build new and existing accounts
• Qualifying leads in a high-volume environment using calls, emails, and Microsoft Team Meetings, or other virtual means
• Conduct high-level conversations with Senior Executives in target accounts
• Organize and categorize sales information into Salesforce
• Strong ability to take initiative and confidently direct customers
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Focus on building a great team environment
• Love the fast-moving environment

• Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale
• Communication skills, especially persuasion, to convey the benefits of a product to potential customers
• Solid proficiency in core Microsoft Office products and Salesforce
• Represent the Company well internally and externally; convey a professional and positive image of the organization and business affiliates
• Flexibility to handle multiple priorities simultaneously: maintain a flexible works schedule to meet changing demands for multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications and Education Requirements: 

• Technical understanding of CRM Systems 
• Sales experience, preferably within the hospitality and tourism industries is required
• Degree in related field is required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Flexible scheduling is required. During the busy spring and summer season, hours may include weekends and holidays.
