Overview

The outgoing and service-oriented Retail Team Members will be assigned to one of over a dozen

gift-shops throughout the park. This position will have lots of interactions and opportunities to

ensure that all guests have a positive experience when visiting the amusement park.

Essential Job Functions

 Greets all guests with a friendly smile

 Operates a point-of-sale system including ability to accurately process credit card and

gift card sales

 Maintains a general knowledge of the items in the stands in order to assist guests with

questions regarding products

 Monitors and stocks items as needed

 Maintains stores, stands, and storage closets in a neat, clean, and organized fashion which

includes but is not limited to occasional sweeping, dusting, and wiping down of surfaces

 Refolds or rehangs clothing items as necessary

 Operates mobile retail carts when needed

 Rotates food and beverage products according to department standards and in compliance

with health code regulations

 Notifies supervisors or managers when supplies are running low such as printer paper, ink

pens, trash bags, shopping bags, etc.

Secondary Job Functions

 Protects guest belongings, turns in lost and found items immediately

 Reports maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor or manager in a timely manner

 Cooperates with other departments to provide a positive guest experience

 Promptly notifies the security team or the operator of team member and guest injuries or

emergencies

 Completes additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers

Heavy physical workload and excessive bodily motions include but are not limited to:

Physical Requirements

 Constant repetitive motion

 Continually able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50lbs

 Constantly be able to stand and walk for long periods of time

 Frequent kneeling, bending, twisting motions

 Often squatting and crouching

 Sporadically able to work in confined spaces

 Consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/tools

 See differences between colors and brightness

 See details of objects that are more than a few feet away

This position has exposure to environmental factors that include but are not limited to:

Working Conditions and Environmental Factors

 Ability to withstand heat and humidity

 Sporadically work in all areas of the property

 Is subject to frequent interruptions and may need to reprioritize activities

 Consistent communication with team members and other departments

 Subject to the handling of and exposure to chemicals, detergents, and cleaners (age

restrictions apply)

 Able to tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals
