Raging Waters San Jose - Security I

Summary

Patrol and report an activity on premises. Enforce and monitor park safety rules. Protect park guests, employees, and assets.
Available shift: 4 pm to 12:00 am
Hourly rates from $23-$24 per hour.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points permitting entry.

• Obtain help by sounding alarms.

• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers.

• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, interviewing witnesses, obtaining signatures.

• Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

Education: Valid CA Guard Card is required.

Languages: The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Skills:

• Communication – Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively with a wide range of diverse personnel.

• Good analytical problem solving skills.

• Good vision with near and far acuity.

• Must possess good interpersonal skills.

Experience: Previous guest-related experience is preferred.

Other: Must be at least 18 years of age.
