Position Summary

The HUB Finance Lead assist in the planning, managing, directing and controlling all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Revenue Control.  Manages P&L, COS, expenses, labor and budgets, purchasing, inventory control and receiving in conjunction with Corporate Finance and the HUB Director of Finance.  Analyzes and evaluates processes to drive revenue while maintaining cost and expense controls in conjunction with the HUB Director of Finance. 

Roles and Responsibilities

·     Oversee and manage all aspects of financial operations in the finance and cash control departments.

·     Responsible for training, scheduling, and managing seasonal team members and supervisors engaged in finance and cash control.

·     Keep accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations.

·     Implement, conduct, and oversee internal audit procedures in all departments.

·     Prepare bank deposits by compile data from cashiers, verifying and balancing receipts and sending cash, checks, or other forms of payment to bank.

·     Calculate third party vendor payments.

·     Process and report revenue to the corporate office, as well as various levels of the organization, on a daily basis.

·     Calculate and complete high-volume daily deposits.

·     Manages approved Accounts Payable logs and submit Daily Sales reports with supporting documentation.

·     Respond to any revenue reporting discrepancies or variances.

·     Respond to any Corporate Finance or Internal Audit requests.

·     Accounts receivable and accounts payable functions including review of accounts payable, expense reports, and check request submissions for accuracy and timeliness.

·     Complete End of Period tasks such as submitted Daily Sales reports, approved Accounts Payable log, and credit card account reconciliation.

·     Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for all employees, including attending Safety Committee meetings, adhering to company policies as well as local, state, and federal guidelines.

·      Support and enforce all park operating policies and procedures.

·      Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations pertaining to the finance and cash control operation, including daily inspections and required state documentation in conjunction with the HUB Director of Finance. 

·      Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to address accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards in conjunction with the HUB Director of Finance. Supports the annual budgeting process in conjunction with the HUB Director of Finance.  

Education:  Higher Education degree in General Business/Finance/Accounting or equivalent.

·         Minimum of three (3) years' experience in accounting and/or management and basic understanding of accounting principles.
