International Logistics Specialist - Intern

Job Overview:  

Reporting to the Logistics Export Manager, the Logistics Intern will support our International Logistics team. In this role you will have the opportunity to learn about Global Logistics – Export and Import while owning projects that enhance efficiency and our teammate experience.

Responsibilities:

• Day to day support for the international transactions in JDE.
• Partner with Logistics International Specialist to provide input on the current processes.
• Provide backup drayage appointment scheduling.
• Mapping out processes and developing, improving other documents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Enrolled in a program pursuing a degree/certification in Global Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.

Skills & Abilities:

• Baseline knowledge of foundational International Logistics concepts. Prior full-time or internship experience a plus
• Strong analytical decision-making skills including the ability to accurately interpret and synthesize data.
• Effective communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and the Office suite of programs
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
