St. Ann’s Community is currently looking for a Part time Environmental Services Assistant for the Irondequoit Campus. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the safety and security of Chapel Oaks residents, staff and physical assets.

Job Description:

  • Make periodic patrol tours throughout Chapel Oaks
  • Observes any safety hazards or problem and reports these situations promptly
  • Assists in coordinating emergency responses
  • Familiarizes and learns operation of all pertinent equipment such as CCTV cameras, ID systems, alarm panels, fire equipment and elevator operations
  • Responsible for knowledge of facility layout
  • Performs housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning fixtures in lavatories and supplying paper goods in Community Center
  • Buffing all tile floors in Community Center and spotting or shampooing rugs
  • Removing trash for compacting or disposal
  • Assists in set ups for functions
  • Assists with reports, training, surveys, inspections, investigations and the like

Candidate Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
