Basic Function

MRIGlobal is seeking a highly motivated analytical chemist to join our Pharmaceutical Analysis Group within Physical Sciences. The position will involve analytical support for investigational and commercial drugs. Analytical techniques include, but are not limited to, the following: HPLC/UHPLC analysis with UV and MS detection; dissolution analysis of solid oral dosage forms; Karl Fischer water determination; particulate matter by light obscuration; and physical tests.

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in the following areas will be beneficial:
    • HPLC Analyst
    • GC
    • Titrations
    • Metrology
    • Accurately weighing small quantities
    • Use of Class A glassware and mechanical pipettes
    • Quantitative transfer
    • ICH stability studies
    • Analytical methods development and validation
    • Maintaining records of instrument use, calibration, and maintenance
    • Instrument troubleshooting
    • Waters Empower chromatography data software
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Word)
    • Good documentation practices
    • Experience in a FDA Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)-compliant environment

 

Minimun Qualification

  • B.S. or B.A. in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry, or related fields is required
  • 0 to 3 years of experience; this is an entry level role
