JOB SUMMARY

Experienced leader adept at overseeing comprehensive database marketing endeavors within the dynamic casino industry. This position is responsible for directing diverse campaigns, including direct mail and email marketing, and other marketing programs as assigned, to drive player engagement and retention for Mesquite Gaming properties. This position will assist the marketing teams in validating data proofs for direct mail campaigns and other promotions as assigned. Develops strong accountable working relationships with internal departments as well as outside vendors to coordinate all direct mail campaigns

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

A self-starter skilled in advanced data analysis and collaboration for marketing campaigns success. A bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field is required. Two (2) or more years of experience in database marketing is required, with gaming experience highly preferred. 5 years or more work experience as a Database Marketing Manager will be taken into consideration in lieu of the bachelor’s degree requirement. Thorough knowledge and understanding of player tracking and analysis systems. Proficient in utilizing Structured Query Language (SQL), relational databases, and multi-dimensional databases for comprehensive data analysis. Experienced in developing complex queries for precise selection of individuals for marketing campaigns, including control/test group implementation. Experience with Aristocrat Oasis and Loyalty preferred. Proficient in conducting thorough proofing and data checks to ensure accuracy and relevancy of marketing materials sent to targeted player groups. Excellent organizational skills, project management abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners. Ability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays. Must possess exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Execute database marketing strategies, direct mail and email initiatives, to enhance player engagement.

 

  1. Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to inform strategic marketing decisions, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and monitor return on investment (ROI).

 

  1. Coordinate seamlessly with internal departments and external vendors to execute marketing campaigns with precision.

 

  1. Assist in the strategic planning and execution of casino kiosk promotions and targeted marketing campaigns.

 

  1. Produce segmented lists tailored for specific marketing initiatives, ensuring maximum impact and relevance.

 

  1. Adhere strictly to confidentiality protocols regarding player information and regulatory compliance within the gaming industry.

 

  1. Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate marketing initiatives.

 

  1. Other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The work is sedentary.  Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work.  However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc.  No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc.  The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.  The work environment involves exposure to secondhand smoke in a casino.  This is a 24 hour/7 day a week work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
