This position is a salaried exempt position.
Oversees training and development for all CIT and CMS employees. Searching for gaps in training content and material that will need updating to generate higher productivity among both hourly and salaried team members.
Communicating with management, trainers, and team members to ensure that all needs are being met. And to identify future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training including setting up leadership development for lower-level employees
➢ To enhancing productivity and quality of work, for training to be widely accepted as a method of improving employee morale and as an opportunity to build loyalty to the organization.
➢ To update training as needed due to the increasing complexity of the work environment, the rapid pace of organizational and technological change, and the growing number of jobs in fields that constantly generate new knowledge.
➢ To create a culture where employees generally appreciate knowing that their employers are willing to invest in making sure they're as well-trained as possible which gives them more career development opportunities.
➢ To enhance existing training and onboarding platforms using the employees feedback contained in the onboarding survey
➢ To train Operational Supervisors and Leads on how to conduct on-the-job training successfully for new employees with the weekly requirement to communicate with and build relationships with all new hires from DOH through six months
➢ To develop sessions that help rank-and-file workers maintain and improve their job skills and possibly prepare for jobs requiring greater skills and for promotions
➢ To evaluate the performance of tenured employees and set up individualized training plans to strengthen an employee's existing skills or to teach new ones.
➢ To set up individualized training plans to strengthen an employee's existing skills or teach new ones.
➢ To work with Operational Supervisors in each branch to ensure remedial training is completed for Driver Aware biannually, AML/BSA and Security Awareness Annually.
➢ Resolving specific problems by tailoring training programs: to include reasons on how Loomis systems (SOP) work and why; such as pick -ups and deliveries must be completed in a particular order to properly capture correct billing and research records: CMS and the importance of Balance and Audit.
➢ Manage and conduct the following onboarding duties
➢ Follow up calls to applicant for info/background
➢ “LTC” Training class ➢ 40 Hour “In Cab” training
➢ Messenger training – assign and review process/booklet
➢ Maintain record keeping for all training documentation
➢ Ensure that firearm training is completed according to local requirement
➢ Approve “graduation” of trainees to fully trained ASTs.
➢ Approve “graduation” of CMS employees to fully trained CMS Tellers
➢ Evaluate Leads for advance knowledge, communications skills, and ability to train employees.
➢ Work with Ops supervisors to ensure that the Risk Index is properly maintained
➢ Communicate with management, trainers, and team members to ensure that all needs are met.
➢ Excellent Communication skills: These skills will help you impart information and training to audiences made up of different backgrounds and personalities.
➢ Decision-making skills: These can be valuable in determining training programs to get the most out of staff.
➢ Leadership skills: Most training managers oversee staff engaged in a variety of responsibilities and duties. You'll want to be able to motivate and teach them.
➢ Collaboration skills: You'll be working with trainees, other management, and experts.
➢ Experience: Five years or more
➢ College is preferred
➢ Knowledge of DOT Rules and Regulations are a Plus
