Events Assistant



We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Assistant to assist Wisconn Valley Media Group with all event needs, including selling vendor spaces and managing events on-site.  Wisconn Valley Media Group has offices in Kenosha, Racine and Lake Geneva.


Here’s what you will do:

o   Sell vendor spaces and sponsorships for events that include:  Food Festivals, Music Festivals, Bridal Showcases, Home Expos, Senior Fairs, Job Fairs and more.

o   Be a point of contact on-site at events for vendor set-up and tear down.

o   Attend all events in all markets (Kenosha, Racine, and Lake Geneva) and assist with tasks such as venue set-up, vendor set-up and check in, crowd management, clean up and selling tickets or merchandise using various event app platforms.

o   Design collateral for events such as advertising flyers, signage, print and digital ads, social media ads and logos.

o   Manage event social media presence.

o   Assist with on-line contest promotions.


Must have experience working with the public. Graphic design experience in InDesign and/or Photoshop is important. Bachelor’s degree and some sales experience is preferred.  A driver’s license and transportation to events is necessary. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
