What You’ll Do:

The Facility Maintenance will be assigned to various duties in the Body Shop Department that interacts, participates, and assists in the effective operation of the shop. Facility Maintenance is responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the tool room and facility.

Job Duties:

• Ensures lobby is clean and well maintain
• Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule
• Directs janitorial staff to cleans offices, hallways, restrooms, stairways and windows
• Uses brooms, mops, and floor equipment to sweep, mop, strip and wax floors
• Uses vacuum cleaners to clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and blinds
• Directs janitorial staff to dust furniture and equipment
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors and sills
• Makes minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs
• Directs janitorial staff to empty wastebaskets
• Replenishes restroom supplies
• Replaces light bulbs
• Sets up and tears down chairs, tables and equipment in meeting rooms, and function rooms
• Clears debris, trash and dirt from entrances and walkways
• Purchases supplies and materials for the shop
• Picks up and delivers supplies and materials to rooms
• Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• More the two (2) years experience in building maintenance
• Ability to use a wide range of tools and equipment to repair and maintain the building
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated
• Reliable
• Positive attitude

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to pass post offer drug test, and physical

Compensation:

• $20-$22/ hour
